It’s time to get your ‘Game-On’ with Grammy Award-nominated cellist Tina Guo in this unique, fun performance. Featuring music from popular video games, movie and television soundtracks such as Halo, Skyrim, Super Mario Brothers, Wonder Woman, Game of Thrones, and more. Guo is one of the most recorded solo cellists of all time and can be heard on hundreds of Blockbuster film, television, and game soundtracks. Her musical engagements include solos with major orchestras around the world, as well as performances alongside Hans Zimmer, Midori Gotō, and more. After coming to America at the age of 5, she began violin lessons with her mother and later began studying cello under the instruction of her father, Lu-Yan Guo. Tina continued her professional cello studies with Eleonore Schoenfeld at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music. Guo has performed at many festivals internationally, including the Sundance Film Festival, Coachella, and more. Additionally, Tina was featured in commercials for Mazda and United Airlines, and as a soloist in Cirque Du Soleil’s Michael Jackson “The Immortal” World Tour from 2011-2013 performing in sold out arenas around the world. The tour performed to over 3.7 million people and is one of the highest grossing tours of all time.
